The adverts appear in date order with the newest at the top. Sellers may sometimes come back to the top but this is usually associated with a reduction in the asking price.
Each advert shows the date and whether it is a private or trade advert. eg 7 Mar P means advert dated 7 March and is private. 9 Apr Trade would mean 9 April Trader or Dealer.
If the advert only shows a telephone number then that is the only way to contact them.
If the advert shows either a full email address or the word To Email Click Here in blue and underlined then you can reply by clicking that email address or the word To Email Click Here.
If you have clicked the full email address then this should have started the email package on your computer and loaded a helpful subject line into the email as well. eg "Response from www.4x4web.co.uk advert". This will show the seller where the response is coming from.
If you have clicked the word Email then you will see the email is actually being sent to webmaster@4x4web.co.uk and again a subject line will have been loaded, eg "4x4web 10jun 110 Newbury Nigel". This means that the seller has paid for our scam prevention service so that all of his replies are checked by the 4x4web office before being forwarded to them. This slightly slows down the time it takes for the seller to get your email.
When replying to an advert ALWAYS add your telephone number so that the seller can get back to you that way if they want to. Note mobile only means that you could be a shady character. Landline only or landline and mobile means I have an address, I am a traceable person.
