navara d22 or defender 300tdi [ Follow Ups ] [ Post Followup ] [ View all Messages ] Posted by jay on April 10, 2008 at 16:34:41: i currentley own a '02 navara in excellent condition with very low miles, fnsh, and all the extras you can think of, as you can imagine im reluctant to take this off roading. ive been offered swap for a '98 defender 300tdi with all the bits, 100k on the clock with full history, again in good condition but not as good as mine. with the apparent unreliability of navaras in mind im unsure of what to do. touch wood the nav' hasnt had any problems apart from a little high on juice (21-24mpg if im lucky). is there anything i need to consider about the defenders? any problems faults etc and how much mpg are people getting? in this position what would you do? the defender is a freind of a freinds car so i somewhat trust him.
