i just had my first navara service by my local nissan agent 18k.ive had it for 2 years (55plate)and the fuel economy has bee brilliant,32-34 mpg.
since ive had it back from service,the mpg had dropped considerably. to a depressing 24 mpg just.
i complaint to nissan about this and they said that thats about average.i now have a harsh diesel knock under acceleration about 1800-2200 rpm. how can it drop that much after a service?.i was reading that the 07 navaras on have been altered to meet the latest euro emmissions ie,not as good on fuel as the earlier models.laptop adjustment only.i took it to nissan last week,the said they reset the computer,but its still 24 mpg. can anyone shed some light on this,as to adjust the fuel timing to get the fuel economy back to 32-34,and to get rid on that horrible diesel knock under acceleration.HELP .
